Great 2 nights had at Craigsanquhar House. Fab dinner-gnocchi, steak with onion rings and chips. Great shower and comfortable bed. St Andrews and Dundee easily accessible. Staff were friendly and public areas were lovely. Overall service was 5+ standard. The country setting is beautiful, the staff couldn't have been nicer, and the food was wonderful. Can just recommend this hotel.

We were those taking off early; the breakfast and Eggs Benedict were delicious. the rooms were on the third floor, but a staff person carried our bags upstairs. the rooms were comfortable, and the country setting was beautiful. Carlos, the restaurant manager, was wonderful and made sure everything was perfect. the landscape was romantic and misty, even in January. the room was luxurious and lovely, and we would love to stay again sometime. the staff couldn't have been nicer, and the food was exquisite. We asked for travel tips on castles, and they provided excellent suggestions. the views were stunning, and the house was amazing. We have recommended it to friends.
Felt like family, nothing to complain about.

We recently spent a wonderful Christmas break at a hotel in the beautiful Scottish countryside. The hotel's location was perfect - nestled among rolling hills and green pastures, it provided stunning views for us to enjoy throughout our stay. The hotel's friendly and attentive staff were also a highlight of our stay, always on hand to offer helpful recommendations and ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Additionally, the festivities offered by the hotel, such as the Christmas dinner and a visit from Santa Claus, made our Christmas experience even more magical.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall, we did find that some of the rooms were a bit on the small side, particularly for families with children or for those who were planning on staying for an extended period of time. Additionally, while the hotel's location was idyllic and peaceful, it was a bit remote and required a bit of driving to reach nearby towns or attractions. Nonetheless, these minor issues did not detract from our overall positive experience at the hotel.

Stayed here for xmas with family. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of walking trails. The food offered at the hotel restaurant was amazing, and there was plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The rooms were a bit dated and in need of some renovations. The heating in our room was also quite temperamental and we had trouble getting it to a comfortable temperature.

I recently stayed at this incredible 4-star hotel and was truly impressed by the level of luxury and comfort it provided. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by rolling hills and in close proximity to the renowned St. Andrews. The elegant and spacious design of the hotel added to the overall ambiance and made me feel like I was truly indulging in a luxurious retreat. The restaurant was of the highest quality, offering a delightful dining experience. The staff went the extra mile to ensure my stay was memorable, even going so far as to upgrade my room and handling a small IT mistake with ease. The breakfast, particularly the Eggs Benedict, was absolutely delicious, and despite being on the third floor with no elevator, a staff member kindly carried my bags up for me. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and amenities provided by this hotel.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
